About

For the second year in a row, I’ve been successful in having a lecture proposal accepted for ISTE, the International Society for Technology Education conference which is held in different cities in the USA each year. In 2011, it was held in Philadelphia.  This year, it’s in San Diego. Each year, over 1000 lecture proposals are received, with around 200 being successful.

Last year, there was around 18000 people at ISTE, and apparently similar numbers are expected in San Diego.  It will be fun to catch up with some people met last year.

This trip will see us fly into LA, pick up a rental car and drive north to Santa Barbara.  Then, it’s another stopover in John Steinbeck territory at Monterey, before travelling on for almost a week in San Francisco.

We’ll then fly to San Diego for the conference before heading to Boston via Chicago.
